Joselina Pannell is the owner and chef behind Spice Haven Catering. Originally from Costa Rica, Joselina brings the vibrant flavors and “Pura Vida” spirit of her homeland to every dish she creates. Driven by her love for authentic, culturally inspired cuisine, Joselina founded Spice Haven to share her “Pura Vida in Every Dish” philosophy—infusing every meal with warmth, joy, and a sense of connection.
Based in Plainfield, IL, she blends her culinary expertise with a deep respect for global food traditions, crafting menus that honor her own roots as well as diverse culinary heritages, all with a modern twist. Joselina is known for her personal approach, hands-on service, and dedication to making every event memorable for clients across Chicagoland.
